Yukon Canoe and Kayak Club actively promotes the sport of canoeing and kayaking in the Yukon. Not only does the club organize events like the annual Whitehorse Whitewater Rodeo, it also has a youth kayaking program and is in the process of establishing an urban whitewater recreational park (along with the Yukon Energy Corporation, City of Whitehorse and other organizations).
